Naraka: Bladepoint Issued 6 Million Copies Worldwide, Sets Record For Sales of Chinese Buyout Games

On Wednesday, the official account of Naraka: Bladepoint posted on its Weibo channel that the sales volume of the game had exceeded 6 million copies on the 90th day of its global release, reaching a new record for the sales volume of a Chinese buyout game.

According to the official announcement, Naraka: Bladepoint ranks fourth in the number of players playing the game from internet cafés in China, and ranks in the top 5 in the game streaming sector. These results suggest that the game can be regarded as the best battle PC game in recent years. In addition, the game has also set a record for the overseas sales of a Chinese game on Steam, and has been well-received by gamers all over the world.

According to its website, Naraka: Bladepoint is a multiplayer battle royale game developed by Netease‘s 24 Entertainment. The game is set in a fictional fantasy world in which two gods – Yin and Yang – fight with each other, resulting in the world being left in ruins. Players need to pick a character, collect  resources, confront other players, and survive until the end.
