Realme Launches Realme X50 5G, Prices Starting from $360

Chinese smartphone brand Realme released its first 5G phone Realme X50 on January 7 in Beijing.

The Realme X50 5G packs a 6.57-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate that supports over 30 applications. Inside is the Snapdragon 765G chipset with an integrated 5G modem.

It comes with a dual punch hole selfie camera, which is a regular 16MP unit and an ultra-wide 8MP snapper. As for the rear camera set, it features a 64MP main camera, a 12MP tele lens, a 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro one.

Powered by a 4,200mAh battery, the phone is capable of 30W VOOC 4.0 wired charging.

You’ll have a choice between6GB, 8GB and 12GB of RAM versions, which come with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The Realme X50 5G goes on sale in China today. It starts at 2,499 yuan ($360) for the 8GB+128GB model, 2,699 yuan ($389) for the 6GB+256GB and 2,999 ($432) for the 12GB+256GB.

Apart from the 5G phone, Realme UI and Buds Air wireless earphones also debuted at the launch event.
