Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus launched its Nord Buds wireless headphones in April this year. On August 1, the company finally released the Nord Buds CE wireless headphone in India.
Nord Buds CE are available in white and gray colors and are priced at INR 2,299 ($28.96). Indian shoppers can buy the earbuds starting at 12 pm on August 4 on the company’s official mall.
Different from the in-ear design of Nord Buds, the Nord Buds CE adopt a semi-in-ear design and supports touch control. In terms of configuration, the Nord Buds CE wireless headset have a built-in 13.4 mm moving coil unit, and provides abundant bass in the response range of 20Hz to 20000Hz.
The Nord Buds CE are equipped with AI noise reduction and support AAC format and SBC format. The earphones also support Bluetooth 5.2 and have a low latency of 94ms.
The charging box adopts an oval design while and the weight of a single headset is about 3.5 grams. In terms of battery life, a single headset features a 27mAh battery and can provide 4.5-hour battery life. With the charging box, the battery life can be extended to 20 hours.
Nord Buds CE support fast charging and have an 81-min battery life after charging for 10 minutes. In addition, the earphones are IPX4-level waterproof, and can effectively reduce the problems caused by sweat stains and water splashes.
OnePlus launched the Nord series overseas just over two years ago. However, in July, Indian media reported that OnePlus was considering divesting Nord. Nord would then be divided into segments, targeting both more expensive and cheaper markets respectively with prices ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 35,000. In addition, Nord would expand its product range to include smart TVs, fitness bracelets, smart watches, Bluetooth headsets, power bank and other accessories.
