On April 2, an official announcement by OnePlus states that OnePlus 5T is now sold out, with only a limited number of stock left on JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce website. The phone was released in November 2017, and it has been only four months since its first day of sale on December 1st, 2017.
The selling out of OnePlus 5T signifies that a new generation of flagship product is about to hit the market. According to previous reports, the new phone is named OnePlus 6.
OnePlus 6 has a 6.28-inch bezel-less screen with a fringe design similar to the iPhone X. It has a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and a screen ratio of 19:9. OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu explained that the fringe design can maximize display area without increasing phone size, balancing both appearances and hand grip.
OnePlus 6 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The chip is fabricated using a 10 nm processing technology, featuring Kryo 385 architecture and octa-core design. Its GPU is the Adreno 630, scoring over 270,000 on AnTuTu Benchmark, a performance ranking software.
As for its other specifications, OnePlus is equipped with a 6GB memory plus 128GB storage (a 8GB version is expected to come out as well), and the battery capacity is 3450mAh.
As for the cameras, OnePlus 6 has a 20 mp front camera with f/2.0 aperture, and dual rear cameras with 20 mp + 16 mp and f/1.7 aperture.
