OnePlus 10-Year Flagship Model OnePlus 12 Officially Released

On December 5th, OnePlus released its ten-year-anniversary flagship model – OnePlus 12.

The OnePlus 12 still adopts the iconic design, equipped with a triple rear camera, with the flash located in the upper left corner of the lens module, and the Hasselblad “H” logo is located to the left of the lens. In addition, OnePlus 12 is equipped with a curved screen on the front, the front camera uses a conventional center punch-hole, and the speaker is located above the hole. The back of the phone gives a smooth matte texture.

In terms of screen selection, the OnePlus 12’s screen is jointly manufactured by BOE and achieves comprehensive leading performance in terms of display quality, brightness, eye protection, and smoothness. The OnePlus 12 has a screen size of 6.82 inches with a resolution of 3168×1440p and supports a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate. With the debut of BOE’s X1 luminescent material and OPPO’s first-generation display chip Display P1, it achieves a peak brightness of 4500 nits, making it the brightest screen globally. At the same time, the “BOE Screen” of the OnePlus 12 also achieves more than double the industry average for screen lifespan.

Specifically, OnePlus 12’s new screen supports hardware-level low blue light to address harmful blue light damage to the retina; it supports natural light display to alleviate visual fatigue caused by significant differences in screen and ambient color temperature; it enhances melatonin production to reduce the impact of screen brightness on sleep quality; it supports flicker-free display to mitigate visual fatigue caused by high-frequency screen flickering; it provides high visibility in bright conditions and eye protection in dim lighting, addressing issues of eyestrain from both bright and dim environments; and finally, it features ultra-precise adaptive ambient light adjustment to counteract visual fatigue resulting from frequent changes in screen brightness when viewing on mobile devices.

In terms of imaging, the OnePlus 12 features the world’s first LYT-808 light metaphor, equipped with a 64-megapixel super-light-shadow telephoto lens and a 48-megapixel super-light-shadow ultra-wide-angle lens, combined with a 13-channel multispectral sensor.

The OnePlus 12 is equipped with an upgraded new generation of touch control. This chip-level full-link touch control technology optimizes the touch control chain from the lowest level and supports IP65 dustproof and waterproof protection, perfectly solving the problem of wet hand touch.

The OnePlus 12 is equipped with the flagship third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, and comes with up to 24GB + 1TB of super memory combination, creating the current “hardware ceiling” for Android phones. With these, the OnePlus 12 may arguably be the most powerful third-generation Snapdragon 8 phone.

OnePlus 12 will also come with a built-in 5400mAh large battery. The device will support 100W super flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging, and it also supports wireless reverse charging. OnePlus 12 can be fully charged in 26 minutes under wired charging, and it only takes 55 minutes to charge the phone to 100% under wireless charging. At the same time, its DOU battery life has reached 1.79 days, surpassing all Pro or flagships models. Using a four-year super durable battery, the battery capacity will still be above 80% after 1600 charge and discharge cycles. OnePlus 12 is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S battery management chip, which allows for a 99.5% ultra-high discharge efficiency.

OnePlus 12 is priced from 4,299 to 5,799 yuan.
