Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo to Exceed 400M Shipped Units in 2017

China’s four major phone manufacturers – Huawei, Xiaomi<img decoding="async" class="trade-card__loading" layout="fixed" height="50" width="50" src="https://assets.pandaily.com/uploads/2021/12/loading.png" placeholder />, OPPO and Vivo – will ship more than 400 million units this year, the Electronic Times reported on November 1. Domestic sales are expected to account for more than 60 percent of the total.

According to a report released this week by Canalys, a market-research firm, Huawei, OPPO and Vivo were the top three smartphone makers in China in Q3, with market shares of 19 percent, 18 percent and 17 percent respectively. China’s smartphone shipments rose 23 percent year on year in Q3 to more than 22 million. Shipments of OPPO and Vivo during this period were 21 million and 20 million units respectively.
