Huawei to Launch Watch GT Runner and Other New Products at Nov. 17 Conference

Huawei Terminal’s official Weibo account announced on Friday that Huawei will hold a new product conference at 19:30 on November 17 to launch the Watch GT Runner smart watch and other new products.

According to the Watch GT Runner’s promotional poster, the watch adopts a circular screen with “SPORT-LAP” engraved on its frame. The watch can also display a series of sports data such as pace, running ability index, heart rate and distance of athletes.

Huawei’s Watch GT Runner will also be equipped with HarmonyOS. As the first watch with suspended plate antennas, it can achieve accurate positioning. According to He Gang, COO of Huawei’s consumer business, Huawei is applying for a patent of this technology.

Huawei released the Watch GT 3 overseas on October 22 this year, which is a small revision of the previously released Watch 3. It comes in two sizes – 42mm and 46mm – and an assortment of different strap styles.
