Huawei Cloud Establishes New Subsidiary in Beijing with Registered Capital of $16 Million

According to enterprise information inquiry app Qichacha, Beijing Huawei Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd. was formally established on October 12 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan ($16 million).

The company’s business scope includes cloud computing equipment and its technical services, sales of self-developed products, software development and outsourcing services, technical services, technical development and more.

According to the information inquiry platform, the company is wholly owned by Huawei Cloud Computing Co., Ltd., which was established in Guizhou in 2019 with registered capital of 50 million yuan.

ITHome previously reported that after four years of development, Huawei Cloud has gathered more than 2.3 million developers, more than 14,000 consulting partners, more than 6,000 technology partners and more than 4,500 products in the cloud market. Gartner’s research data in 2020 shows that Huawei Cloud has grown into the second-biggest cloud service provider in China and has entered the top five in the world.
