Zeekr, a pure electric intelligent vehicle brand owned by Geely Holdings, on Tuesday announced the delivery of its 10,000th home charging pile. The firm now provides home car charging service in 292 cities in 31 provinces across China.
Since its first home charging pile was set up in Pudong District, Shanghai on September 30, 2021, Zeekr’s home charging services have entered the families of car owners in 292 cities in 31 provinces across the country, and nearly 15,000 home charging pile installation orders have been received.
For EV users, charging at home is considered the most preferable choice. But at present, some communities do not have the conditions to install home charging piles. To meet the needs of users in different scenarios, Zeekr Power has built energy ecological service systems for all scenarios with three dimensions – “home, city and service.” It also launched three business lines of “home charging, public charging and electrode delivery” to provide users with energy service solutions in a comprehensive way.
As of April 30, 2022, the self-built charging stations of Zeekr Power were constructed in 22 major Chinese cities, and the third-party charging network accessed by charging maps covered more than 330,000 charging terminals in 329 Chinese cities. In addition, it launched electrode charging services in 35 Chinese cities, which can save more time for users. The firm’s mobile charging car services are available in six cities, able to satisfy the charging needs of users in urgent situations.
Zeekr belongs to Geely Holdings. It released its first mass-produced EV, the Zeekr 001, on April 15, 2021. The Zeekr 001 is powered by a twin-motor with a high-performance permanent magnet. Its highest speed reaches 200km/h in the twin-motor version. Its battery delivers a 712km range according to the NEDC cycle.
According to sales data, 2,137 units of the Zeekr 001 were delivered in April 2022, an increase of 19% from March. The total delivery amount reached 16,385 units.
