Xiaomi is About to Release its Second 5G Flagship

On August 15, Xiaomi officially announced on Weibo that its second 5G flagship is about to debut. Previously, Xiaomi took the lead by launching the 5G version of its MIX3 phone in the European market.

Xiaomi‘s Weibo post reads, “with the three certifications, the 5G era for Xiaomi is now in place! Xiaomi‘s second 5G flagship smartphone is about to debut!”

Three certifications refer to the regulations that a 5G smartphone has to comply with to go on the market: 3C certification (national compulsory product certification), network access license and State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) certification.
