TikTok Tops Mobile Application Worldwide Revenue List for July 2020

Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence Platform shows that TikTok and its Chinese version of Douyin have earned more than $102 million in the global App Store and Google Play, which is 8.6 times that of last July. The company once again ranked first on the global mobile application revenue list.

Among them, approximately 89% of the revenue comes from Douyin. TikTok’s revenue in the US market ranked second, contributing 6% of revenue, Sensor Tower said on its WeChat account.

YouTube ranked second on the list with more than $76.8 million in revenue, an increase of 43.8% over the same period last year. American users contributed 54% of the total revenue, followed by Japanese users, accounting for 12%, Sensor Tower reported.

According to the media, the other three apps in the top five are Tinder, Tencent Video, and iQiyi, respectively.
