The New XPeng G9 Model Will Be Released in the Fourth Quarter

On August 21st, Jacky(Gu Jie), the Senior Director of Powertrain at XPeng Motors, announced that the new model G9 from XPeng Motors will focus on high-end cost-effectiveness. It is scheduled to be released and launched in the fourth quarter of this year while retaining advantages such as quietness, ease of driving, energy efficiency, and fast charging.

The current XPeng G9 was released in September last year, with a price range of $42,537 to $64,491 (¥309,900 to ¥469,900). It offers six models with three different ranges: 570km, 650km, and 702km.

Xpeng G9 is built on the X-EEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture, with dimensions of 4891/1937/1680 (1670) mm in length, width, and height respectively. It has a wheelbase of 2998mm and is positioned as a pure electric mid-size SUV.

This model is equipped with rich features such as the Xpilot 4.0 advanced driving assistance system. The CLTC has a maximum range of 702 kilometers, and the four-wheel drive version can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds. With an 800V high-voltage supercharging, the range can be increased by over 200 kilometers in just 5 minutes.
