Last September, Chinese electronics firm realme released its first tablet, the realme Pad, in India, with a 10.4-inch IPS LCD display and a Helio G80 processor. However, the company has not yet launched this product within the Chinese market.
On Monday, a domestic tipster with Weibo username “@Digital Chat Station” claimed that realme’s next major product should be the realme Pad. The prototype model has two versions, one of which uses an LCD display, supports 2.5K resolution and has a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, an 8360 mAh battery, and supports the use of a stylus.
The blogger also revealed that the budget version of the realme Pad should be around 1,000 yuan – 2,000 yuan ($147 – $297). The master version will be equipped with an SM8475 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC) and will feature a better texture.
