Realme’s First Smartphone Supporting 150W Fast Charging Leaked

On Friday, the digital blogger “Digital Chatting Station” unveiled that realme’s new smartphone will be equipped with 150W flash charging capability and will adopt the same 160W charger as OPPO.

In terms of fast charging technology, the blogger wrote that OPPO and Xiaomi are already experimenting with 200W fast charging and both have plans to promote commercial uses of this technology. According to some sources, OPPO will also start the mass production of smartphones with 125W wired fast charging in 2022.

Fast charging speed has become a competitive edge within the Android market. At present, the maximum speed is 120W, which is used by Xiaomi, iQOO and a few others brands. Phones with 4500mAh battery can be fully charged within 15 minutes.

In addition, according to the official statement of Red Devils, the upcoming Red Devils 7 Pro with a 5000mAh battery will support 135W flash charging, meaning it can be fully charged in 15 minutes, and also include a 165W gallium nitride charger.
