A new realme 5G smartphone model with code name “RMX3551” has recently passed a network access audit by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and is expected to be released soon. On Tuesday, photos of the model were displayed on the TENAA certification website. According to a domestic tech industry blogger, this model is the master edition of the realme GT2, and it will also be the first flagship version with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset from realme.
Photos on the TENAA certification website show that this new model is equipped with rear trio cameras, and the back cover is brown, with a right-angle frame.
In addition, it was shown that the model is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ SoC, a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 AMOLED notch straight display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and has three color options including green, white and brown. It has a thickness of 8.2mm and a weight of 199g.
This model is equipped with a 4880mAh (nominal 5000mAh) battery, a front 16MP camera and rear 50MP + 50MP + 2MP trio cameras.
Given previously leaked information, this model will adopt an ultra-narrow frame, which may hit a new record. In addition, it has previously reached the 120 refresh rate needed for popular MOBA game Honor of Kings, and it is expected to be released in the near future.
Chase Xu, Vice President of realme, posted on Monday morning, suggesting that the master edition realme GT2 will be available in a white colorway. The “Luna White” color of the previous generation of Realme GT Master Edition adopted a pure white design, and the new model will also be designed by well-known designer Naoto Fukasawa. Chase Xu once hinted that this high-end flagship is “the top of industrial design.”
