OPPO’s Tablet Could Run A New Version of ColorOS With Dock Bar and Desktop Widgets

Noted tech leaker Digital Chat Station revealed on Thursday that OPPO was reportedly ready to release a mid-to high-end tablet with narrow edge and similar appearance to Huawei’s MatePad Pro 12.6. The front camera may be located in the center of the frame while the screen will account for a high proportion of the device.

In addition, this tablet may be equipped with ColorOS for Pad system, which features a dock bar and desktop widgets, and will support various other shortcuts.

Rumours also suggest that OPPO’s new ColorOS 12 system supports multiple platforms, including PC, tablets, mobile phones, watches and headphones.

At present, Apple’s iPad reigns supreme in the tablet market, while the tablets of Lenovo, Huawei, Samsung and Xiaomi have been gaining ground. According to Chinese media outlet IThome, Vivo also appears to be planning its own variation of a tablet, which is expected to be unveiled in the near future.
