Chinese smartphone firm OPPO has recently provided registration information regarding its K10 Pro model on TENAA, a website run by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. On Friday, OPPO also updated registration information for the K10, showing a model with the identification code PGJM10. Reports have surfaced that OPPO will release the K10 within the next week.
According to network registration information, the OPPO K10 is the first model to be equipped with a MediaTek 8000 processor. Its screen is 6.59 inches long, featuring a 2412 × 1080 120Hz LCD. The front camera is 16MP, while three rear cameras are 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP respectively. The battery capacity is 4890mAh.
This model supports 67W fast charging, with a thickness of 8.7 mm and a weight of 205g. It adopts side fingerprint identification, retains a 3.5 mm earphone jack, and is available in two colorways – black and blue.
Last month, OPPO announced that its K10 will be the first batch of models that feature a Dimensity 8000 processor, and will jointly improve the device’s gaming experience together with MediaTek.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8000 chipset is a reduced frequency version of the Dimensity 8100. The chip is based on TSMC’s 5nm process and consists of four Cortex A78 cores + four Cortex A55 cores, with the main frequency of 2.75 GHz (the main frequency of Dimensity 8100 is 2.85 GHz).
Different from the OPPO K10, the OPPO K10 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm 888 flagship processor and an OLED screen, and supports 80W wired flash charging.
