For 2022, OPPO is introducing the Watch 3 series for which there are two models, the Watch 3 and the Watch 3 Pro. The Watch 3 Pro is the first smartwatch equipped with an LTPO screen in China and is equipped with a large 1.91-inch AMOLED screen with equal width on all four sides and 1000nit ultra-high brightness. The watch dial and motion monitoring data can be viewed at any time without needing to lift the wrist.

The OPPO Watch 3 Pro adapts the Snapdragon W5 platform which helps reduce the device’s power consumption by 40%. Through UDDE dual-engine hybrid 2.0 technology, the Snapdragon W5 and Apollo4 Plus chip work together to provide better performance. Under the intelligent mode, the smartwatch supports 5-day battery life, which is 25% longer than the previous generation. In the light intelligent mode, the watch provides all the functionality of most other sports watches, such as Bluetooth call, sports monitoring and notification viewing, and provides battery life for 15 days.

OPPO has added a vascular health research function in the smartwatch which can detect the elasticity of blood vessels every thirty seconds by using an ECG + PPG sensor, helping detect vascular sclerosis. In terms of sports, the tennis mode is customized exclusively and offers five specific data points: hitting times, swing speed, active time, heart rate and calorie consumption.

The OPPO Watch 3 is equipped with the same dual chipset and lasts four days under intelligent mode and 10 days under light intelligent mode. The 1.75-inch AMOLED screen has a classic square design, which might be more suitable for users with small wrists.

OPPO Watch 3 Pro’s black version with fluorine rubber strap is priced at 1999 yuan ($297) while the version with a brown leather strap is 2099 yuan while the non-Pro version is also available with a fluorine rubber strap for 1599 yuan, and a golden leather strap version will sell for 1699 yuan.
