The new Oppo phones sport a panoramic AMOLED FHD+ display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phones are notchless and feature a peculiar wedge-shaped module that is touted to spin out in just 0.8 seconds. The slider houses not only the camera but also the earpiece, front soft light and the rear LED flash. There is no room for face unlocking. Instead, Reno has an in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.

This motorized module is said to last for over five years, assuming users will trigger it 100 times per day. To protect the wedge, the Reno can also sense if it’s falling causing the camera to close automatically.

OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Edition

The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition sports a triple rear camera setup that has a periscope telephoto lens to enable 10x zoom. Like most current flagships, it is powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset and supports 4K 60fps video recording with hybrid stabilization, as well as 3D audio capture and audio zoom.

Reno 5G Edition

Lastly, OPPO also announced that Reno also comes in a 5G configuration and it will make an appearance in Zürich, Switzerland. The Reno 5G will probably be similar to the Reno 10x Zoom Edition, but obviously needs an upgraded chipset that supports 5G connectivity.
