OnePlus Rumored to Release 10 Pro on January 5, 2022

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus usually launches its new flagship models in the first quarter. A digital blogger named Max Jambor has revealed that the company will release the brand-new OnePlus 10 Pro on January 5, 2022, the same day as the opening of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but it is not yet clear whether OnePlus will release its 10 and 10 Pro at the same time.

Samsung has taken similar measures before, such as releasing its S20 series on March 6 and S21 series on January 29, further seizing the market’s attention.

Previously, Max Jambor revealed that the OnePlus 10 Pro may enter the Chinese market from January to February. He said that OnePlus has chosen to launch new products early because it wants to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S22 in China. Tipsters indicate that Samsung will release its Galaxy S22 series early next year in the global market.

According to previous leaks, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be equipped with a Qualcomm 8 Gen 1 processor. This smartphone will be also feature a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The OnePlus 10 Pro will have a triple-lens camera with a 48MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide one, and an 8MP telephoto one with 3.3x optical zoom. On the front, the device will be equipped with a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The phone is expected to keep the Android experience of OxygenOS 12. It will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and will support 125W fast charging.
