On September 28th, the NIO Phone has received its first OTA upgrade since its release. The upgraded version is SkyUI 1.0.1, with an installation package size of 558MB. This upgrade mainly includes two aspects: intelligent vehicle control and NIO Link relay. In terms of intelligent vehicle control, the upgrade supports using system fingerprints instead of service passwords for verification, and adds the function of synchronizing on-board temperature when getting in the car, which means that the car air conditioning will continue to operate at the remotely set temperature upon boarding.
In terms of NIO Link relay, the upgraded version now supports transferring navigation to the in-car system and automatically ending navigation on the phone. In addition, NIO Link relay has also added voice collaborative wake-up function, supporting NT1.0 platform models; in terms of voice skills, it has also added functions such as setting countdown timer, world clock, and navigation route.
