Miniso Launches the First New Concept Store in Indonesia

Recently, Miniso opened a new concept store in Indonesia. The total area of the store is nearly 700 square meters, making it the largest store in Indonesia currently.

Not only are there more product SKUs available, but the overall display and design of the store have also been comprehensively upgraded. The sales performance of the new store is very impressive, with daily sales reaching three times higher than before its renovation during its opening period last year.

Miniso‘s new concept store in Indonesia is located in the bustling Artha Gading shopping center in Jakarta, which is situated in the northern business district and is one of Jakarta’s largest comprehensive shopping malls, suitable for daily consumption by people of all ages.

This store was first opened to the public in May 2017 and has been renovated and upgraded by Miniso this year. It reappeared with a brand-new look as a concept store this month, attracting many young consumers to come and take photos.

It is reported that the store design incorporates Miniso‘s own cartoon image theme, MINI Family, specially sets up blind box area, toy area, fragrance area and beauty area based on popular local product categories.

Miniso‘s perfumes, blind box figurines, and toy pendants have always been the best-selling categories in the Indonesian market. In addition to these, well-known IP collaboration products such as We Bare Bears, Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, and Disney series are also popular among local consumers.

Now, Miniso has opened over 200 stores in Indonesia, covering more than 90 cities. Among Miniso‘s overseas markets, Indonesia’s GMV contribution has consistently ranked among the top five. This year, the performance of the Indonesian market continues to grow steadily.

Since the launch of its global strategy in 2015, Miniso has entered 105 countries and regions around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Indonesia, Singapore, Italy, France, Iceland and other countries. As of the end of 2022,the total number of stores has reached 5440.
