Huawei nova 8 Series, Enjoy 20 SE Specs Tipped

As Huawei’s launch day, Dec. 23, approaches, specifications about its new smartphones, Huawei nova 8 series including nova 8 and nova 8 Pro, and Huawei Enjoy 20 SE are tipped by smartphone bloggers.

Huawei’s nova 8 series, both the nova 8 and nova 8 Pro, will be equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 985 chipsets, the same as the previous nova 7 and nova 7 Pro models. The nova 8 will sport a 90Hz high-definition OLED curved screen, while the nova 8 Pro will feature a 120Hz ultra-curved ring screen.

The nova 8 will pack a 32MP front camera and a 64MP high-definition quad-camera module on the back, while the nova 8 Pro features a 32MP dual-camera module on the front to support both front and rear dual-system recording. The nova 8 will be 7.64mm thick, while the 8 Pro’s thickness remains unknown. Both models will support 66W super-fast charging.

Another lineup that will also make its first appearance on Dec. 23 is the Huawei Enjoy 20SE, which is relatively lower-end. The Huawei Enjoy 20SE will premiere with the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, a 6.67-inch LCD single-hole screen with a high resolution of 2400×1080. The front camera will have a 16MP lens, while the rear quad-camera module will be 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP. The Enjoy 20SE adopts a side fingerprint recognition solution, featuring a built-in 5000mAh battery, and supports 22.5W fast charging.

Previous rumors claimed that the Huawei nova 8 will be priced at around 3,000 yuan and the nova 8 Pro around 4,000 yuan. The series is reported to go on sale on Dec. 30.

For reference, Huawei’s previous generation of the nova 7 and nova 7 Pro starts at 3,699 yuan and 4,099 yuan, respectively. The old Enjoy 20 starts at 1,499 yuan, so the Huawei Enjoy 20SE could be priced around 1,000 yuan.
