Huawei launched HMS Core 4.0, the latest version of their in-house mobile services ecosystem. Apart from some minor updates, the company also added several new features to the platform like the voice assistant Huawei Assistant and an application Huawei Search.
According to the company’s report, Huawei Search provides functions such as instant search and quick viewing of news sources. In addition to displaying search results, users can sort searches for videos, news, pictures and other categories.
Huawei said that the app is undergoing internal testing and has not yet been released but it is expected to appear on Huawei phones soon.
It is worth noting that apart from the Huawei Search application, Huawei also developed its own Huawei browser, which is also equipped with a comprehensive search function.
Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Consumer Business CEO, revealed previously that Huawei HMS is available in more than 170 countries and registers more than 400 million monthly active users.
