Huawei Hubble Invests in Glinsun.ai

Chinese business inquiry platform Tianyancha shows that Wuhan Glinsun Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd. (Glinsun.ai) has recently changed its official industrial and commercial information, with registered capital rising to 36.1696 million yuan ($5.71 million), an increase of 13.74%. In addition, Shenzhen Hubble Technology Investment –established by domestic telecoms and electronics leader Huawei in 2019 – has become a new investor in the company.

The official website shows that Glinsun.ai focuses on innovative applications of cutting-edge technologies such as visual recognition, graphics and images in the industrial and fashion fields. It was established in July 2017, and its legal representative is Zhong Shoucheng. The firm’s business scope includes R&D of intelligent technology, development, wholesale and retail of virtual reality software and hardware, intelligent design of garments, technological development and consulting services for intelligent cockpit systems.

Currently, Glinsun.ai’s products have covered the design, production and sales of clothing, and have extended to the terminal applications of the clothing industry through independent R&D of three-dimensional (3D) human body reconstruction and high-precision fabric simulation technology, including remote intelligent measurement and virtual fitting.

Since 2019, the company has used current technologies to expand into other markets such as automobiles, robots and smart cities. In the field of automotive intelligent cockpits, several core products are in cooperation with Chinese and global leading manufacturers, including Huawei and Daimler Benz.

In the automotive field, the company has been selected into Startup Autobahn and PNP China Incubator. The 3D human body reconstruction product brought about in cooperation with Daimler-Benz has been applied to intelligent cockpits. The algorithm obtains the human body data in real time and automatically uploads it to the on-board computer, helping the driver adjust the seat tilt angle and distance to improve travel safety and comfort.
