Excellent Photography: Xiaomi Reveals the Redmi Note 5 Camera

On March 9, Xiaomi<img decoding="async" class="trade-card__loading" layout="fixed" height="50" width="50" src="https://assets.pandaily.com/uploads/2021/12/loading.png" placeholder /> officially announced that the Redmi Note 5 is equipped with AI dual-camera. As shown in the released photo, the Redmi Note 5 looks extraordinary.

Xiaomi<img decoding="async" class="trade-card__loading" layout="fixed" height="50" width="50" src="https://assets.pandaily.com/uploads/2021/12/loading.png" placeholder /> Technology CEO Lei Jun said that the Redmi Note 5 camera provides the highest level expert photography capabilities among all 1000 yuan ($157) ranged mobile phones.

In addition to the camera, the Redmi Note 5 has great hardware. It has a 5.99-inch screen with a resolution of 2160×1080. It comes equipped with Snapdragon 636 processor, and has a maximum of six GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Its battery capacity is 4000 mAh.

The Snapdragon 636 is based on 14 nanometer manufacturing technology and uses eight core “Kryo 260” architecture. Its GPU is an Adreno 509. Its CPU performance and GPU performance is 40 percent and 10 percent better, respectively, than those of the Snapdragon 630. The Snapdragon 636 also integrates X12 baseband.

The Redmi Note 5 is priced at 13999 rupees (about $215) in India, and thus it is expected to be around 1400 yuan ($221) in China.
