Cloud computing services provider Centrin Data and Huawei Digital Power held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation in Beijing on Monday, establishing a comprehensive partnership between the two sides.
Based on the rich industry experience of Centrin Data in data center investment, construction, operation and maintenance, as well as Huawei’s leading technical capabilities in data center power solutions, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in data center business, data center infrastructure, intelligent photovoltaics, green energy storage, integrated smart energy management and other fields. They will also conduct exchanges and cooperation for advanced data centers, green energy and integrated smart energy management.
Yang Jie, Chairman of Centrin Data, said: “By adopting Huawei’s innovative solutions systematically, the two sides jointly build the industry’s most advanced future-oriented green and intelligent data center, which not only meets the financial industry customers’ requirements for data center security and reliability, but also meets the development direction of green and low-carbon data center under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals.”
Yang Jie also said that in the future, Centrin Data and Huawei would jointly build an integrated data center of “source network and storage” with high computing power, high energy efficiency and high security in Ulanqab. They will also contruct a PUE data center in Tianjin to set a new banner for China’s data center industry.
Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Data Center Facility, said that Huawei would fully support the whole life cycle business development of Centrin Data in the field of data center professional services, including consulting, design, construction, operation and maintenance management services, as well as all-round layout and cooperation of domestic and overseas businesses.
