ASUS Unveils Zenfone 5 Lite: Full Screen + Four Cameras

ASUS will unveil the Zenfone 5 series at a product launch conference in Barcelona at 19:30 on February 27 (Beijing time 2:30 A.M. February 28).

According to media reports, the ASUS Zenfone 5 series is equipped with Snapdragon 845, Snapdragon 670/660, Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 450.

Previously leaked information on the Zenfone 5 Max (model number ASUS_X00QD) disclosed that it adopts Android 8.0.

In addition, the ASUS_X00PD model features a full-screen display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. This model has no front buttons but offers a fingerprint sensor and dual cameras on the back, similar to the iPhone X.

A few days ago, Twitter user Evan Blass tweeted a photo of the ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite, leaking a glimpse into the third model in the Zenfone 5 series.

The ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite uses a common full-screen design with dual camera sensors above the screen.

On the back, the ASUS Zenfone 5 Lite has the same vertical dual-camera module and rear-fingerprint design as the Huawei Mate 10.

The front camera sensors are both 20MP, and the rear ones are 16MP. The screen resolution is FHD+.

ASUS went through setbacks when expanding from PC to the mobile phone industry. We expect the Zenfone 5 will be a great improvement over the Zenfone 4.
