Apple will also be working with another Taiwanese electronics manufacturing company, Pegatron.

Renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who recently left KGI Securities, has been making predictions as early as late April. He forecasts that the LCD version will be sold under $700 while Katy L. Huberty, managing director of research at Morgan Stanley, predicts that the same model will cost at least $699 too.
