482 Shenzhen Companies Account for 10% of CES Exhibitors

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week will attract about 4,500 companies and organizations, including major players such as Samsung, LG and SONY, as well as smaller companies, Consumer Technology Association reported. Every year, CES exhibitors sell and promote products the hottest consumer electronics trends.

Many Asian companies are interested in CES. Some 482 companies, or about 10 percent of the exhibitors, have the word “Shenzhen” in their names. Many of the digital products popular in Europe and America are produced in Shenzhen.

Dongguan is China’s manufacturing hub and it appeared in the names of 78 companies. Beijing appeared 44 times. The words US, America and American appeared 94 times. However, many companies with those words are US subsidiaries of multinational companies, such as Nokia US, Samsung US and Volkswagen US.
