BYD Auto Store launched the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 BYD Official Edition on Friday, which will go on sale on November 29th. The specs of the phone remain the same as the 8 + 256GB version already on sale in China with a black ceramic back but will be priced at 5799 yuan ($908) and limited to only 500 units.
This is the third cell phone collaboration BYD has completed. Last year, BYD and Huawei jointly created a customized P40 smartphone with BYD’s Han factor. This year, BYD launched a customized version of Mate 40, which caused some discussion among netizens.
BYD’s personalization elements are reflected in the company’s logo on the back cover, the boot screen and also found on the device’s integrated wallpapers. Moreover, the packaging is also designed with custom elements by BYD.
