Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus announced on February 1 that it had reached a three-year strategic cooperation with miHoYo’s action role-playing game Genshin Impact. OnePlus has invested 100 million yuan ($14.8 million) to establish a laboratory to improve the user experience while playing the game, and its new model Ace 2 will be the first to demonstrate the effort.

Li pointed out that in the past two years, the game experience optimization plan of OnePlus and Genshin Impact, code named “alchemy”, has always been aimed at keeping the image quality and user experience as consistent as possible. Both parties have launched cooperative results such as a customized gift box and a special edition smartphone.
