OnePlus has unveiled its latest premium flagship devices, the OnePlus 7 series in London, New York and Bangalore.
The Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer launched three flagship devices, with emphasis placed on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The highly anticipated device sports a massive 6.67-inch fluid AMOLED display, with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 516ppi, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The immersive display also features HDR10 and HDR10+, which provides subtler gradients and richer details to videos that also support it.
The OnePlus 7 Pro has a slim profile with tapered edges on both the front and rear of the phone. It comes in three color variants, Mirror Gray, Almond and Nebula Blue.
Performance-wise, it is powered by the latest mobile platform, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with up to 12GB of RAM. It features a memory enhancing algorithm named RAM Boost, which is capable of learning from usage habits and intelligently allocate available RAM to memory-intensive applications.
The batter compartment has also been upped a notch to a capacity of 4000mAh, with a new flash charge technology, Warp Charge 30. OnePlus claims that the new flagship can charge up to 48% in just 20 minutes.
The smartphone manufacturer has also upped its camera game with a triple-camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro. It features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
The 7 Pro also comes with a new enhanced gaming mode named Fnatic Mode, which provides new features such as advanced DND, background restrictions, and network enhancements.
The company has also introduced a 5G variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro, which will only be available to users in the UK for the time being.
Aside from the 7 Pro, OnePlus has also unveiled a OnePlus 7, which seems like an incremental upgrade of the company’s previous 6T model. It features a dual-camera system with the Sony IMX856 sensor, Dolby dual stereo speakers and Snapdragon 855.
The OnePlus 7 comes in two color variants, Mirror Gray and Red.
The OnePlus 7 series flagships will be available starting at: Price-wise, the OnePlus 7 Pro begins at 649 pounds. And the OnePlus 7 begins at 499 pounds.
