Faraday Future (FF) announced on August 20 through its official WeChat account that it plans to greatly expand its number of employees over the next 12 months, following a business combination deal that closed in July of this year. The new hiring will help support the 2022 launch of its all-electric flagship vehicle, the FF 91.
Hiring efforts will focus on filling positions in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, design, marketing, brand, sales and other areas, as well as potential senior managers. The positions are distributed across three offices in California, including the headquarters in Los Angeles, a Silicon Valley office focusing on technology and a FF 91 production plant in Hanford.
In addition, FF will announce the joining of several core executives in the near future, and will hire key-positions for its China operations as it gears up to deliver FF vehicles in that market.
“We focus on recruiting elites who are enthusiastic about changing the automobile industry and future travel to support the rapid development of the company’s business. For the right candidates, an immense amount of opportunity abounds. FF welcomes talented, passionate and motivated industry elites,” Carsten Breitfeld, Global CEO of Faraday Future, said.
