TCL CSOT India Achieves Mass Production in First Line of TV Open Cell

TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology (TCL CSOT) announced on Wednesday that the first product of India CSOT’s TV Open Cell was completed at 11:00 a.m. on June 3, Beijing time.

TCL CSOT India is the first Bonding-Assembly LCD panel module factory in India, as a strategic layout of TCL CSOT into the global market. It can provide the key components – LCD modules – for local cell phone and TV manufacturers. The company focuses directly on brand customers in India and continues to build supply chains, production assurance and customer delivery capabilities in terms of after-sales services, delivery efficiency and local production in India.

TCL CSOT India was established in 2018. It started construction in September 2019, later completed in December 2019. TCL CSOT India integrates the production of large TV screens and small mobile terminal displays, with a total project area of 280,000 square meters.

TCL CSOT India shipped smartphone panels to Samsung in March 2022, and completed the first available TV Open Cell in June. Its first production line has achieved mass production, with first-line capacity of 141K/month. The mass production of 2K TV Open Cell will reportedly be completed sometime this month. By March this year, TCL CSOT India had smoothly passed the factory certification of three TOP international customers.

TCL CSOT said that its India division was the first and only TV Open Cell production line in India, serving all customers in the Indian market. TCL CSOT India says it will provide customers with TV Open Cell products with better quality and more favorable prices.
