Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition to Debut July 12

Chinese smartphone provider realme announced on July 4 that its GT2 Master Explorer Edition will be released on July 12.

According to previous rumors, the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ mobile platform while it will measure 8.2 mm thick and weigh 199g. The phone will have a 6.7-inch 2412×1080 120Hz AMOLED screen and be equipped with a 4880mAh battery, support 100W fast charging, and feature a front 16MP lens and a rear 50MP + 50MP + 2MP lens.

According to digital blogger “Digital Chatting Station”, the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition will have a 6.7-inch BOE flexible straight screen and a 100W fast charging for its 5000mAh battery, helping shrink the device’s thickness to 8.2 mm.

Earlier, Chase Xu, Vice President of realme, asked netizens about their budget for their next smartphone along with other questions. One respondent said that they wanted “a smartphone with a price under 3,000 yuan ($448.5), a lovely appearance and can take beautiful photos, and won’t be particularly hot to play games such as Genshin Impact.” Xu replied, “Isn’t that our model to be released in July?”. The exchange suggests that the price of the GT2 Master Explorer Edition is likely to be around 3,000 yuan.

Xu also said on Weibo that the realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition will be a smartphone with amazing appearance and performance. Jae Jung, an internationally renowned trend designer, has been deeply involved in the creation of the company’s new smartphone products.
