The highest-end model, the Note 9 Pro 5G, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and 4820mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging. The phone features a 64MP AI quad camera, including an 108MP ultra-high resolution primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera. The Note 9 Pro 5G comes in three colors, black, blue, and a gradient blue color.

The non-Pro variant of the Redmi Note 9 runs on the MTK Dimensity 800U, with a larger 5,000 mAh battery and a 6.53-inch LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate. The triple camera system has a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The base model Redmi Note 9 4G is slightly different from the same model released in India in March. Unlike the 5G and the pro 5G, the name explains itself, it doesn’t support 5G. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 662 SoC, but with the stronger 6,000 mAh battery and stereo speakers. The Redmi Note 9 4G starts at 999 yuan ($151) for the 4GB+128GB model, 1,099 yuan for the 6GB + 128GB model, and 1,299 yuan for the 8GB + 128GB, and 1,499 yuan for the 8GB + 256GB. It is available in Smoky Blue, Misty Teal, Feather Black and Sunrise Orange color options.
