OPPO Find X6 Series to See Great Image Update

Chinese digital blogger “Digital Chatting Station” posted on August 29 that the OPPO Find X6 series will have two versions: a standard version and pro version, in which the Find X6 will beequipped with a Qualcomm 8+ chip and the Find X6 Pro will be equipped with the Qualcomm 8 Gen 2 chip.

OPPO’s Find X6 Pro is reportedly to adapt a 6.8-inch flexible screen, which will support 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For image hardware, it is reported that the main camera of the pro version has been upgraded from the Sony IMX766 to the newer IMX989.

OPPO uses 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX766 main camera on its Find X3 and Find X5 flagship series. The use of the Sony IMX989 means that the imaging performance of the Find X6 series will be greatly improved.

In addition, the OPPO Find X6 series will be equipped with a proprietary imaging chip, the MariSilicon X, which is a special 6nm NPU chip manufactured by TSMC.

MariSilicon X integrates the MariLumi image processing unit developed by OPPO, which can support up to 20bit image processing and Ultra HDR ultra-dynamic range. It gives images a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 between the brightest and darkest areas of the image.
