WeLink satisfies user’s need for streamlined office communication software and at the same time strengthens the customer’s bonds with Huawei Cloud. The software currently has 195,000 global users, a 99.8% daily activity rate, more than 12 million daily connections, 520,000 connected teams, and over 700 connected businesses. WeLink boasts clients including Kingsoft Office, ChinaSoft International, Zhiyuan Internet, and Logitech among others.

With WeLink Huawei aims to liberate traditional PC-based office structures, enabling enterprises to accommodate more modern flexible workflows. WeLink is set to compete with Tencent’s WeChat Work, and Alibaba’s DingTalk, while catering to larger corporations. In addition, WeLink service has broadened Huawei’s ecosystem, which could add value to Huawei Cloud beyond the commercial potential.

Huawei is also helping to pioneer the transition to a more flexible workplace. According to Xue Hao, Vice President of Huawei Cloud and Vice President of Connectivity and Associate Business, in 2023, 40% of Huawei’s employees will work remotely.
